The Ministry of Reconciliation: An Introductory Course on Conflict Resolution

This 15-hour course will provide clergy and lay leaders with basic tools for resolving conflicts in the parish/congregation by offering students an understanding of conflict resolution methodologies appropriate for the parish context by:
- Examining the dynamics of conflict
- Learning about interpersonal conflict as well as the stages of church conflict
- Introducing and practicing basic mediation skills through interactive lectures, demonstrations and role-plays.
- Using specific written materials integrating pastoral theology and conflict resolutions.
Written materials will be provided.Resource books on conflict resolution will also be available for sale.

Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church (parish office building)
This course explores the nature and mission of the Church as it has evolved from the self-understanding of the earliest New Testament churches to the present. During the course, students will have an opportunity to study key events that gave shape to the nature of the Church as it manifests itself in our time. We will examine insights and beliefs from an ecumenical perspective with particular attention to implications for ministry.
